Boomers searching for a community to call home should consider Inspiration Colorado!

Inspiration Colorado map 1

Colorado has become a mecca for people planning to retire. But boomers are envisioning much more than spending days on a golf course. They want community, adventure and to make the most out of life. So developers are planning a new type of resort-style neighborhood to meet their needs. And no surprise, Douglas County will be home to one of them!

Inspiration Colorado is the massive, 1,800-home community being built on the northeast edge of Parker (at Gartrell Road and E-470). The first phase of the project will include Hilltop at Inspiration, an area of age-restricted homes inside the neighborhood. Residents must be a minimum of 55 years old in order to purchase.

Situated along E-470 the community will have easy access to Parker, Aurora and even Lone Tree is just a few minutes away.  Residents will enjoy dining and shopping all along the southeast corridor. New and expanding hospitals like Aurora’s Anschutz Medical Campus are nearby. And perhaps most importantly family and grand kids living in the surrounding areas (Highlands Ranch, Smoky Hill and etc) will be a short drive away.

The Toll Brothers of Pennsylvania have been selected as the builders. Thrilled to take on the project (as president Mark Bailey shared with the Denver Post), they will construct ranch-style homes priced from the mid-$300,000s to the $800,000s. Their goal is for their new home owners to move in starting this fall.
